Barham Boomfest is the new festival hosted by cluBarham from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2018. The festival pays tribute to the iconic music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s over the three days with four great shows.
To open the festival on the Friday night, a tribute to “The King”. Damian Mullin, Australia’s most successful, sought after and award winning Elvis Entertainer will bring to life your favourite Elvis hits. Described as the closest thing to “the real deal”, Damian Mullin’s performance captures the essence of the King of Rock n Roll.
To send some good vibrations your way, The Australian Beach Boys Show will take to the stage on Saturday afternoon from 3:30pm. A hit after hit performance will have you up and dancing to take you back to the days of California Girls.
Spend your Saturday night on the dance floor as The Glamtastix bring to life the glamour, pop and disco that the 70’s are renowned for from 8:30pm. Dress up for a 70’s disco, get down and boogie and get your groove thing on with prizes to be won for best dressed. The Glamtastix will cover the big hits from the era with a performance incorporating glam rock outfits to create a party atmosphere.
Sunday Brunch for $20 from 10am until 12pm will help you recover after a big night on the dance floor. The multi-talented Anthony Tenace will entertain you with hits across the many genres of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s while you enjoy a well earnt brunch.
With Sunday Brunch taken care of, Sun Rising will perform “The Songs That Made Memphis” from 1:30pm Sunday afternoon. A stunning show of songs and stories that pays tribute to the performers signed to the Memphis recording studio Sun records such as Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and more.
Local girls, Justuss will provide free entertainment with the songs you know and love in the Main Lounge Friday evening and during Lunch on Saturday whilst you dine on our menu with some new offerings at Indulge.
Tickets to each show are now available from the Barham Services Club reception for $20 each or purchase a Boomfest Pass to attend all the shows over the three days for only $60 and get the full 50’s, 60’s and 70’s experience. Sunday Brunch is at the extra cost of $20 for food and entertainment.
