CluBarham Bowling Greens

CluBarham is a premier destination for Bowls along the Murray River. In 2022 cluBarham underwent a major transformation to their lawns bowls facilities which now feature two brand new 9 rink synthetic world class surfaces with one being undercover allowing for recreational and competitive use all year round. This complex now located at the rear of the main services club in Neimur Street is central to our two motels and backs onto the Barham Caravan & Tourist Park on the banks of the Murray River.

Additionally, the bowling club also showcases fully refurbished clubrooms, with tournament office, amenities and an upgrade to parking facilities, surrounds and gardens. It is expected the newly built modern complex will become home to a number of major bowls tournaments as well as provide a safe and friendly environment for our bowls club members, guests and visitors to the region where they will be able to enjoy a game of bowls, a drink inside the clubhouse from the bar or dinner from the neighbouring Don’s Kitchen which specializes in Chinese & Malaysian Cuisine.

Partnership with Bowls Victoria 2024

Bowls Victoria, CluBarham, and Murray River Council are thrilled to announce CluBarham as the new host for the Over 60’s State Championships and Women’s Country Carnival for the next three years. With its upgraded facilities featuring two new synthetic surfaces, including one undercover, CluBarham provides the perfect setting for these events. 

The Over 60’s State Championships, now open to all without pre-qualification, will feature added categories like Mixed Pairs and livestreaming, along with increased prize money. Clubarham CEO, Jason Wallace, expressed excitement about showcasing their top-notch greens and facilities, while Murray River Council Mayor, Cr Chris Bilkey, highlighted the economic boost and tourism potential. The Women’s Country Carnival, set to become an annual event from 2024, will further bolster regional tourism. Stay tuned for more details!
